Italian fuel warehouse suspected of selling 188 million litres without paying tax

An authorised warehouse near Milan allegedly released more than 188 million litres of petrol and diesel onto the market without paying the applicable taxes. The EPPO says the operators abused a VAT-deferral arrangement and sold fuel well below market rates through unbranded filling stations.
